United-Writers releases Terry Trueman’s Sheehan: Heartbreak
and Redemption
New Book is the powerful prequel to the award-winning novel Stuck
in Neutral
Spokane, WA – (Release Date TBD) United-Writers and Xlibris
announce the release of Sheehan: Heartbreak and Redemption -- a
must read for fans of author Terry Trueman’s critically acclaimed
novel Stuck in Neutral.
Unlike Trueman’s previous five books, Sheehan: Heartbreak
and Redemption is not young adult fiction, but rather a unique work
of nonfiction – a fascinating glimpse at the true-life story
behind the award-winning Stuck in Neutral (Printz Honor Book, 2000).
Opening with Sheehan, including a preface by Chris Crutcher/After
Word by Michael Gurian, the powerful poem first published in 1991
(and excerpted in Stuck in Neutral), Sheehan: Heartbreak and Redemption
also features an extraordinarily candid interview with Terry Trueman
by freelance writer Kelly Milner-Halls and an extensive photo archive
(over twenty photos in all), including pictures of the real “Shawn
McDaniel,” Sheehan Trueman.
Don’t miss this riveting prequel to one of the most popular
books in young adult fiction, available July 2007. Order a copy
now by visiting your local bookstore or by logging on at www.united-writers.com,
www.Xlibris.com or www.terrytrueman.com today!
